Decorative Stamped Concrete

Question 1: Why to choose Decorative stamped concrete?
it’s an economical alternative to pavers or natural stone, especially for hardscape  such as Pool deck,patios, walkways and driveways. It  is beautiful and appealing and requires less maintenance.  Additional value is  the material’s longevity. If properly installed and maintained, stamped concrete can last for many years.

Stamped concrete is a best option when it comes to designs  and color varieties, which are  unlimited.

Question 2: What are the most popular colors and patterns being used for stamped concrete?
Natural stone patterns, such as slate, fieldstone brick,and  cobblestone and textures that resemble natural stone. Popular colors tend to be grays and shades of brown.

Question 3: Does it look Realistic?
Stamped concrete looks very realistic, most stamping mats are molded from the original stones or bricks  they are designed to mimic and achieve natural-looking flooring,as you would see in real stone,

Question 4: Can decorative stamped concrete be repaired?
Stamped concrete is one of the most durable and long lasting materials available and is highly resistant to cracking when installed correctly in some cases cracks are often hard to detect because they will often blend in with the pattern, but If the cracks become an eyesore, there are ways that can be used to repaired.

Question 5: Can I install stamped concrete myself?
We don’t recommend installing stamped concrete as a DIY project unless you know exactly what you’re in for in terms of labor and expense.

Question 6: Will the color on the decorative concrete fade?
Efflorescence, hot or cold weather, dirt and traffic can take all effect on the lasting condition of  the color of stamped concrete. You can minimize any color change by maintaining cleaning and resealing the concrete. Even if the color has faded due to years of neglect, weather or no maintenance, there is a good possibility it can  be restored to its original state by cleaning and resealing.

Question 7: Can stamped concrete go over my existing natural concrete?
Existing grey or natural concrete that’s in good condition that can be covered with a stamped overlay, which will give you the same look as  stamped concrete. Stamped overlays can be used to upgrade the appearance of natural concrete outdoor patios, driveways, pool decks, walkways and interior floors.

​Question 8: Is decorative concrete slippery?
Most stamped concrete has  a textured surface, in many places it is  more slip resistant than conventional concrete. but, just like natural stone, it can become slippery when wet or if a oil base sealer applicator  has been applied. If stamped concrete will be installed in a high-traffic area, such as an entryway or pool deck, a grips powder need to be added to sealer to increase its slip resistance.
